Rainforest Cookies

As part of his topic homework, the lovely Angus in Class 6 made some AMAZING rainforest cookies. The best part was sampling them! They were made with natural ingredients from the rainforest and they tasted divine! Definitely a late entry to Junior Masterchef!

The Great Kapok Tree

Leo’s review of: The Great Kapok Tree
Author: Lynne cherry
Genre: Fiction

In my class we have been using this book for a persuasive texts. Its a good book for persuasive text because it has persuasive language like beg and plead. My favourite part is when the man falls asleep and all the animals give reasons not to cut down the forest .I recommend this book for jack o because it’s quite interesting.

The Ghost Ship

Jack’s review of: The ghost ship
Author: Martin waddell

I think this book is good because they have good thought to the book and they have put in powerful verbs and adjectives. My favourite part was when Ernie found the ghost ship because it Must be quite surprising finding a ghost ship!
