Rainforest Cookies

As part of his topic homework, the lovely Angus in Class 6 made some AMAZING rainforest cookies. The best part was sampling them! They were made with natural ingredients from the rainforest and they tasted divine! Definitely a late entry to Junior Masterchef!

In my class we have been using this book for a persuasive texts. Its a good book for persuasive text because it has persuasive language like beg and plead. The Great Kapok Tree

Adam’s review of: The Great Kapok Tree
Author: Lynne Cherry
Genre: Fiction

I like The Great Kapok Tree because it is about the rainforests and I like to draw animals animals of the rainforest. I also like it because it is our topic and I like knowing facts about it. My favourite part is when the small man hesitated and dropped the axe when he was going to cut down the tree. And in The Great Kapok Tree assembly I was the small man.
